Description
The new RC702 is the successor to the RC701, Shimano's bestselling top-tier road shoe. It now has upgraded S-PHYRE technology.

- Integrated seamless midsole and upper construction set a new standard of fit, stability and lightweight performance
- New supple high-density synthetic leather upper with perforation and lightweight mesh/TPU combination ensures a superior glove-like fit, while reducing weight and increasing breathability
- Surround wrapping upper structure reduces overlap, eliminating hot-spots and providing a snug, comfortable fit
- Super low stack height helps stabilize foot, maximizes power transfer and efficiency
Ultra-rigid hollow carbon midsole efficiently vents air and drains water
- Newly developed ultra-rigid hollow carbon midsole construction cuts stack height, significantly improves ventilation and water drainage
- Full carbon outsole maximises power transfer and pedalling efficiency
- Dual BOA L6 micro-adjust dials ensure precise fit and comfort
- Adjustable Powerzone lace guide securely holds forefoot
- Shimano Dynalast - Optimised Shoe Last: The toe-spring section of a cycling shoe plays a key role in supporting efficient pedalling. Too high, and it causes increased tension in the plantar, calf and hamstring muscles. Too low, and you get a bowlegged, inefficient pedalling form. Extensive research by Shimano's R&D experts has produced a superior shoe last design with an optimised toe-spring section that promotes a smoother, more energy-efficient upstroke. Built based on feedback from pro riders, Shimano Dynalast helps reduce energy loss on long rides, letting you keep more in the tank for that final sprint to the line.
- Wide cleat position adjustment range: 22mm of combined cleat-adjustment range offers each rider the ability to select the best possible footplate position
- Sole stiffness index: 10
- SPD-SL, Look, Speedplay and Time cleat compatible
- Weight: 255g (size 42, single)
