The SLX FC-M7120-1 crank features an entirely new construction, using direct mount chainrings, special gear tooth profile for improved chain retention, and a 178mm Q-factor. The rigid and lightweight design boosts trail-riding enjoyment. - The SLX HollowTech II chainset features hollow forged crank arms which are both lightweight and rigid whilst being incredibly strong and durable - HollowTech II integrated bottom bracket design uses a wide bearing placement with a large axle diameter for increased stiffness, efficiency and added durability 70 degree spider arm for optimal rigidity - For 12-speed SM-CRM75 chainring (sold separately) which have teeth featuring Shimano Dynamic Chain Engagement technology that offers enhanced chain retention - For use with 12-speed HG+ MTB chains only - With a 55mm single ring chain line for use in conjunction with 148mm O.L.D.
