| Description | The SLX M7100 ICE TECH brakes offer lightweight, reliable 2-piston braking performance. With a focus on reduced weight and cross-country tuned stopping power, the brake provides intuitive modulation so that you can explore your limits with confidence. - Fully bled lever and calliper comes without adapters or rotors giving you the freedom to customise to suit your bike - 2-finger lever has optimised axle position with additional contact point and refined ergonomics - 10% stiffer than previous generation M7000 even under high temperature conditions - Quicker brake engagement with shorter free stroke - Servo Wave action: when you pull the lever initial pad travel is fast, so little lever movement is needed to bring the pads into contact with the rotor. The power multiplication factor then increases rapidly at the pad-to-rim contact so more of the lever stroke is used to apply greater braking power with improved control. - Brake lever features reach adjustment for a perfect custom fit - Hinged bar clamp design for easy installation - I-SPEC-EV compatible: Shimano's proprietary integration for shifter and brake lever into one single handlebar clamp for a cleaner set-up. With its wider adjustment range, I-SPEC EV levers can be adjusted to the optimal position to match a wider range of riding styles, rider preferences and rider anatomies (hand and arm alignment). I-SPEC EV increases brake lever rigidity by moving the brake clamp position inward to create an extra point of contact between the bar and the lever. This additional bracing drastically increases bike control and braking engagement while maintaining space between the clamp and support point for other handlebar accessories  - ICE TECHNOLOGIES ceramic pistons for excellent heat dissipation - Mineral oil brake fluid is non-corrosive and less hazardous than conventional hydraulic brake fluid - Easy and clean bleeding thanks to a one way bleeding calliper and the funnel bleeding tool (not included) - Includes G03S resin pads (also suitable for sintered and Ice Tech pads), plus spare olives and insert should you wish to adjust the length of the cuttable hoses - Suitable for CenterLock and 6-bolt rotors - Hose length: 1000mm (front), 1700mm (rear) |
