| Description | Cinturato Velo is the tubeless-ready clincher tyre from Pirelli, crafted around protection and comfort, without compromising performances. Pirelli's experience and the reliability of SmartNET Silica technology combined with the tubeless-ready comfort and the resistance of the Armour Tech technology facilitated the creation of a new clincher tyre with a unique DNA, perfect for long-distances and various terrains. - SmartNET Silica technology delivers high rolling efficiency with natural anisotropic orientation, reducing heating while increasing elasticity, minimising energy loss - Armour Tech construction offers advanced protection against even the worst road conditions. The components, in order from inside to outside, add to the 60 TPI nylon casing underneath: 1) High density nylon layer from bead to bead, which protects against cuts as well as improved stability at low pressure riding and contribute to make the carcass air tight when used with liquid sealant 2) High density waved aramid fibre breaker belt placed underneath the tread, which provides protection against punctured and sharp object cuts 3) Aramid fibres dispersed into the tread rubber compound (SmartNET Silica) in two layers: the outer features microscopic rod-shaped silica particles which enhance wet and dry performance and road feel, and the inner has the rods arranged systematically to inhibit penetration of foreign bodies for a strong, long-lasting tyre - The bead profile shape matches seamlessly with tubeless-ready rim hooks for easy mounting - The Functional Groove Design uses a narrow angle at the centre of the tyre to keep wear even - The lightning bolt tread pattern reduces noise and drains water for a smooth cycling experience - Ideal Contour Shaping uses a distinct crown and sidewall radius and textile designed to match optimal footprint contour - Weight: 410g N.B.
