Extra small and small frame sizes have 27.5" wheels, short-reach brake levers and narrower handlebars that make it easier for riders with smaller hands to stay in control. XXS frames have the right sized controls matched with 26" wheels. The XXS size also has a shorter 80mm travel fork that gives smaller riders a better fit for a more efficient pedalling position. Sizes XXS and XS have a curved top tube and lower standover height that makes it easier for smaller riders to mount and dismount.  Medium and above frame sizes have 29" (29er) wheels.
