The all-new Orca M30i showcases the advanced OMR carbon frame, optimised carbon structure and tube shapes that deliver a dynamic, smooth ride. And the wireless electronic Shimano 105 Di2 groupset gives effortless, instantaneous shifting and superior braking power and feel. Orca raises expectations. Everyone can benefit from a smoother ride, advanced engineering and aerodynamic advantage. There are integrated controls and components that are sleek, smart and device-enabled. For flexibility and performance, Orca has room for wider rubber. To fit the widest range of riders, unique bar and stem fitting solutions are available - not all of us are seeking the same riding position, we want the fastest bike that fits. Orca is a modern, capable racing bike that excites us to ride exactly the way we like. Details: OMR Monocoque Carbon Frame OMR frames add high modulus and high strength fibres to a standard layup to improve stiffness-to-weight ratios. Bladder moulding with EPS forms and PU headtube and bottom bracket inserts stop wrinkling and unconformities in critical zones, allowing less carbon to be used while maintaining strength. - Lightness: Optimised layups and fewer frame pieces reduces weight. Optimum carbon compaction allows the use of less material. Frame weight (53cm): 1030g. - Stiffness: Single uniform structures are better optimised to resist deflection. Carbon structures are tuned to deliver maximum stiffness without adding weight. - Ride quality: Running continuous fibres through and around intersections allows fine-tuning of structures for the best blend of comfort and rigidity. - Reliability: Eliminating bonded areas increases strength. The lifetime warranty assures your Orbea will be a long-time companion. - The new seat post clamp adds a touch of style. At the same time it is lighter than ever and the minimalist design improves aerodynamics. - The fork is designed to minimise weight, while the clever shape helps to reduce drag at the same time. Geometry Orca Racing Geometry is born from almost 100 years of designing road racing bikes and is the perfect balance of responsiveness and stability. Angles and dimensions are considered carefully across a range of sizes to put more power to the road with every pedal stroke, and more power means more speed. Ergonomics How can ergonomics help you ride further? Unlike a racing position that is focused on aerodynamics, an endurance position results in a bike that is easier to ride and increases stamina. A shorter cockpit and higher handlebar maximise rider comfort - and more comfort means longer and faster rides. The Orca M30i is, as standard, equipped with the OC RP31-R handlebar which has a 15mm rise. This simple and elegant ergonomic solution elevates the tops and drops of the traditional road bar to replicate the geometry of an endurance road bike while retaining the overall frame performance for which Orca is so renowned. Your neck and shoulders can relax a bit more, focusing on a better ride ahead, increasing comfort, stamina and your enjoyable ride time. Optional flat, non-riser, bar also available at no additional cost.   Integration Internal Cable Routing is carefully guided along the best path under the stem and through the head tube, with no rub or rattle, and is optimised for both traditional and electronic shifting systems. The updated covers save weight, and the cable sealing is improved. Proprietary headset spacers smooth airflow, offer easy adjustment and are also compatible with aftermarket components. Tyre clearance Modern road riders have discovered the advantages of bigger tyres - a wider tyre inflated to lower pressures can reduce rolling resistance and the added air volume dramatically increases comfort and traction, just like suspension. The Orca M30 has 32mm of clearance for precisely those benefits.
