Say hello to enduro adventures. Incredible value and proven handling make this the perfect machine to start your e-MTB journey. A powerful Shimano EP801 drive unit and 630 Wh battery will make light work of the hills, and sorted suspension will keep you in control.

The perfect first enduro e-MTB, the new eONE-SIXTY 400 features Merida's latest fourth-generation aluminium frame, offering impressive performance at an incredible price. The user-removable 630 Wh battery gives you plenty of range and the powerful Shimano EP801 drive unit will help you conquer any climb. Thanks to the latest e-enduro geometry and a mix of bump-taming 29" front and agile 27.5" rear wheel, it's a fun and capable enduro machine, while proven suspension, Shimano brakes and drivetrain and RockShox suspension will keep you in control.

With the latest eONE-SIXTY, the next descent is always about to start. With an all-aluminium frame, it offers maximum value and maximum battery range, thanks to a powerful drive unit paired with a removable battery and optional 360 Wh range extender. The only reason to stop will be because you have to. With incredibly capable geometry derived from the award-winning ONE-SIXTY enduro range, the eONE-Sixty has handling that will help you conquer the toughest climbs as well as the most grin-inducing descents.

And all the while, the proven FAST kinematic suspension will take care of anything the trail throws at it. This low-maintenance flexstay design offers 160mm of rear wheel travel to go with 160mm at the front, with size-tuned progression to maximise performance for all sizes of riders. You can run it with the latest coil shocks without any worries too. With mixed size 29" front and 27.5" rear wheels as standard for playful handling, you can switch to a focussed full 29er setup without messing up the geometry, thanks to the flip chip design. With low standover heights across all sizes, you can choose between a longer frame for more stable handling or a shorter one for an agile feel, while some models feature the ground-breaking 30-230 mm travel-adjustable dropper post.

Highlights:
- Fourth generation LITE aluminium frame with 174 mm rear wheel travel
- RockShox Psylo Silver fork with 160 mm travel and Super Deluxe rear shock
- Highly quality Shimano CUES 9-speed drivetrain
- User-removable Shimano 630 Wh battery with powerful Shimano EP801 drive unit
- Mixed wheel size as standard with option to full 29"
- Reach-based AGILOMETER sizing system with long-travel dropper posts on all sizes

Details
RACELITE 61 ALUMINIUM
Merida use a minimum of 6061 grade aluminium on all bikes. It's particularly well suited to being shaped with our hydroforming and technoforming processes, which allow us to vary the wall thickness to create double-butted tubing and complex frame shapes. It's also an alloy that welds easily, and once it has been carefully heat treated to maximise strength, it means we can create strong and lightweight bicycle frames for you to enjoy.

FAST KINEMATIC
A suspension system that uses a Flexstay design to reduce weight and maintenance, that's adjustable to run 29" or 27.5" wheels without altering the geometry and has Size Tuned shock progression that increases with frame size, so lighter and smaller riders can access all of the travel and heavier riders get the support they need on big hits.

P-FLEX
A suspension design where the traditional pivot point on the seat stay is eliminated in favour of a flexstay design. This uses the compliance of the material and specific shaping of the tubes to allow for the seat and chain stays to move apart as the suspension moves through the travel. By removing this pivot point at the seat and chain stay junction, we save weight, reduce maintenance needs and add stiffness to the frame structure.

ENERGY GUARD TWIST
A two-component battery cover fitted to bikes with an internally mounted battery. It protects the battery from dirt and moisture, with a softer outer layer that absorbs impacts. An easy-to-use twist lock mechanism secures the cover in place without the need for tools with a simple and light action that makes it easy to access the battery for off-bike charging, but prevents the cover from falling off, even when riding on the roughest terrain.

CASTED MOTOR BRACKET
The e-bike motor mount has a sophisticated shape that is only possible to create with casting technology. Casting this piece allows us to create a complex yet lightweight shape that gives an extremely strong connection between the motor and the frame for improved performance and reliability. It also gives the bike and motor a smooth and cleanly integrated appearance.

INTERNAL CABLE ROUTING
Running the brake and gear cables inside the frame protects them from the elements, gives a clean and neat look and can offer aerodynamic advantages. SMART ENTRY system prevents cable rattle: cables, housings and brake hoses are clamped under tension to prevent noisy cable movement.

X-TAPER HEADTUBE
Steering precision is vital to safe and confident handling, and the X-TAPER HEADTUBE allows us to significantly boost this precision. A larger headset diameter at the bottom paired with a smaller one at the top helps to deal with the strains modern riding and equipment can put on the headtube, all without adding unnecessary weight. It allows tapered forks to be fitted with ease and delivers precise and confidence-inspiring steering.

INTERNAL BLOCK
First introduced in our 2015 Ninety-Six, the latest version of the "Internal Block" is incorporated directly in the frame and prevents the fork crown from hitting the frame in case of a crash or an extreme steering angle. As an extra layer of protection, there are added rubber bumpers on the frame to avoid any frame damage from the fork crown.

LONG FENDER COMPATIBLE
An optional extra coverage mudguard that bolts rigidly to the rear of Merida bikes, protecting the rider from dirt and water spray while reducing noise, movement and prevent damage to the paintwork.
