| Style | Fast and lightweight, the Speeder shares its genes with road bikes. It's a fun packed and efficient commuter and fitness mile muncher. The frame geometry is sporty with a more upright riding position that's noticeably different to conventional road bikes with drop bars, making it an excellent choice for riders wanting road bike style and efficiency with added comfort. Speeder has the same high quality lightweight triple butted 6066 series aluminium as that used for the alloy road bikes. It's hydroformed to tune the frame for a comfortable, responsive ride. The addition of a full carbon fork with a tapered steerer delivers precise steering and a smooth ride. The upright position, flat bars and powerful hydraulic disc brakes are ideal for commuting, providing greater control and an enhanced field of vision when riding through traffic. For versatility, the frame can accommodate wider tyres up to 35mm, or 32mm with mudguards. In addition, it works exceptionally well with our hydroforming technology, allowing us to create complex shapes, featuring triple butted wall thicknesses, an almost carbon-like appearance and the best possible stiffness-to-weight ratio. While lesser alloys might be cheaper, it is the ideal choice for high-performance bicycle frames. X-TAPER HEADTUBE Steering precision is vital to safe and confident handling, and the X-TAPER HEADTUBE allows us to significantly boost this precision. A larger headset diameter at the bottom paired with a smaller one at the top helps to deal with the strains modern riding and equipment can put on the headtube, all without adding unnecessary weight. It allows tapered forks to be fitted with ease and delivers precise and confidence-inspiring steering. INTERNAL CABLE ROUTING Running the brake and gear cables inside the frame protects them from the elements, gives a clean and neat look and can offer aerodynamic advantages.
