Description | One of the most popular MTB pedals on the market, the HT PA03A Nylon platform pedal hits the nail on the head as a class leading MTB Flat pedal. The PA03A features a large area platform with 2 in-mould grip pins and 8 steel replaceable grip pins, providing outstanding support, grip and confidence. The super-slim 18mm profile glass reinforced nylon composite body material makes these pedals both lightweight and extremely durable. Strong, CNC machined Cr-Mo axles and a sealed bearing system ensures smooth, reliable performance. - Injection moulded nylon fibre composite - Large supportive platform: 107x105mm (WxL) footprint - Replaceable steel grip pins - Slim 18mm profile - CNC machined Cr-Mo spindle - Dual sealed bearing + one DU bushing - Weight: 350g (pair) HT PA03A review, bikeradar (see here for full review): "The PA03A is still one of the grippiest, most stable and affordable flat pedals on the market. The concave profile, long, sharp pins and well-sized body combine to offer impeccable traction. For the cost, they're irreproachable" HT PA03A review, mbr magazine (see here): "The company has also perfected the shape on the PA03A - it's the largest platform here with plenty of concavity, allowing your foot to fall naturally over the axle. There are no ridges or bulges to upset your balance - it feels stable and secure. And despite the large size the PA03A is also the lightest pedal on test.... We're not enamoured with the name, but you'll need to remember it because the HT PA03A is the best shape, best grip and most sure-footed and comfortable plastic pedal we've used to date." HT PA03A review, offroad.cc (see here): "HT's PA03A pedals might not have the snappiest of names, but when it comes to getting boatloads of grip from a durable and comfortable platform at a bargain price, it's worth remembering it as they're the ones to beat." HT PA03A review, Singletrack magazine (see here): "The worst named flat pedal of all time just happens to be the best plastic - sorry, composite! - flat pedal of all time too. Good platform size. Sensible thickness. Great feel. Tough as old boots. Impressive bearing life. Loads of colours (although they all get disappointingly tatty very quickly to be honest). Just great pedals. Can be hard to find though." |
