Speed Concept is pure drag-defying performance. The whole-bike integrated aero system is the world's fastest.

You own the course on Speed Concept. Design, components and incredible fit combine to meet your best effort and propel you to new heights of performance. Welcome to the win.

Don't Just Reach Your Potential. Blast By It.

- A complete aero system: Whole-bike aero approach integrates frame, rider, brakes, cabling, electronics, and storage to dramatically reduce drag and shave seconds.
- Integrated storage actually makes you and your bike faster.
- Easy build, easy travel: Speed Concept has the largest range of adjustability for a perfect fit, plus fast assembly and easy adjustment that makes travel easy.
- Speed Concept has the full Aero Package, the perfect complement to the bike engineered to be the fastest on the planet. The package includes a full aero fork, base bar, and Speed Fin aero rear brake cover.

New, faster frame design:
Speed Concept was already the fastest bike in the world, and the latest improvements make it even faster. More aero, less weight and complete integration all adds up to more speed: 30% reduction in frontal cockpit area, unprecedented aero integration of cables, revolutionary Speed Fin, improved aerodynamics. And it gets even better: New Speed Concept is even lighter than before.

Ultra-clean front end - The cleanest leading edge:
Move around to the front of Speed Concept and an amazing thing happens: it all but disappears. Presenting the least amount of surface area at the front of the bike is crucial. It sets the tone for how the rest of the bike will perform.

Full internal cable routing:
You can look for the brake and gear shift cables, but you won't see them... and neither will the wind. Cable housing contributes a massive amount of drag, and routing them internally through the bars and frame eliminates that drag and maximises speed.

KVF tube shape:
The new KVF tube shape features an improved ratio of length and width, an optimal combination that gives you the least air resistance and makes the fastest tube shape even faster.
Airfoils are created with a precise ratio of length and width. The optimal combination gives you the least air resistance, and consequently, the fastest speeds.
The Kammtail Virtual Foil (KVF) tube shape is groudbreaking aero technology. Trek started with a super-slippery 5:1 airfoil, then cut off the tail at just the right length to trick the wind into thinking the full foil is still there, creating a super-aero virtual tail.
Unlike a conventional airfoil, the KVF tube shape retains full aero benefit at yaw. The virtual tail bends to maintain its aero shape in the presence of the most prevalent crosswinds. The virtual-tail truncated tube shape allows us to use less material, for a lighter yet stiffer frame.
Less drag at all crosswind angles and a lighter frame mean greater speed from the power you put to the pedals. Speed Concept conquers the wind, and the competition.

Full-Foil fork, Fastest where it matters most:
Trek tested every shape possible, and found this 6:1 ratio is fastest where it matters most. This fork slices the wind from 2.5-12.5 degrees of yaw angle without stalling for unparalleled aerodynamic performance in all real-world wind conditions.

Speed Fin:
The exclusive Speed Fin performs double duty: it's a powerful brake booster to enhance rear-wheel braking power, and it cheats the wind as an aero rear-wheel fairing.

Invisible brakes, Integrated front and rear:
Speed Concept is the first bike with front and rear brakes built directly into the fuselage, with the rear brake tucked below the frame to hide from the wind. This innovative setup results in less drag and cleaner lines. Not only are the brakes integrated and fast in the wind tunnel, they're now even easier to adjust and set up.

500 Series OCLV - the industry leader:
Over two decades ago, Trek engineers developed the Optimum Compaction, Low Void carbon manufacturing process, enabling Trek to produce carbon bikes with consistency and quality previously thought impossible. It was an industry breakthrough... and to this day, Trek OCLV carbon frames are the best, most consistent you can buy.
Each level of OCLV offers the best ride for the money, thanks to an optimal balance of areal weight, stiffness, and compliance. 500 Series OCLV achieves a superb balance of light weight, strength, and stiffness that's perfectly suited to the sophisticated frame technologies that distinguish Trek frames.

The fastest fit:
A bike that fits right goes faster. A comfortable rider in an efficient position can put the most power to the pedals. And in triathlon, a comfortable ride leads to a faster, more comfortable run. Speed Concept is designed with the greatest size range and adjustability of any tri/TT bike, to give you the best fit. For the fastest rides, the fastest runs, and the fastest overall results.

Speed geometry, Ultimate stability:
Triathletes and time triallists spend most of their time in the aerobars, which places more weight on the front wheel. On a traditional road bike, that additional front-wheel weight can make the bike less stable and more difficult to steer. Speed Concept geometry is specially engineered to accommodate this extra weight, ensuring a safer, more stable ride.

BB90, Wider is better:
BB90 is the widest bottom bracket available on a road bike. This Trek-exclusive carbon BB makes the frame lighter, stiffer, and quicker to accelerate.
BB90 eliminates the need for extra inserts and parts in the bottom bracket/frame junction. Fewer parts mean a lighter frame. And a lighter frame means a faster ride.

Integrated Speed Storage:
More is less:
You need storage, but it can kill your aerodynamics. Bulky cages, flapping tape... major drag. Enter Bontrager Speed Storage, so well fitted to Speed Concept that you and your bike are actually more aerodynamic with it than without. Take your supplies, fuel, whatever you need with you. The more Speed Storage you carry, the less drag you fight.

Speed Box 2:
Completely redesigned top tube nutrition storage from Bontrager puts your fuel within arm's reach without messy tape or Velcro. Pliable silicone construction is easy to get into, easy to clean, and holds up to 8 gels or 2 flasks.

Draft Box:
The aero-neutral Bontrager puncture repair and tool storage comfortably fits your puncture repair kit (CO?, two tubes or a tubular, multitool) with room to spare.

Carbon computer cage:
Bontrager RXL Tri Carbon computer mount and bottle cage combo puts hydration in the fastest possible place, between your arms.

Team-issue computer mount:
Sleek, trim, minimalist Bontrager mount positions your computer for best aerodynamics and easiest visibility.

2-pack Aero:
Super-aero, super-roomy behind-the-seat Bontrager storage holds two water bottles and more, and works with your body to improve bike+rider aerodynamics.

Handlebar bottle mount:
Mounts accommodate a variety of between-the-arms bottle cages, including the abovementioned Bontrager RXL computer mount and bottle cage.

Electronic drivetrain optimisation:
Seamless integration. Full internal routing with a proprietary seatpost electronic battery mount allow for a perfect interface with the industry-leading drivetrain systems without a single cable tie or strip of tape. It's the most seamless component integration in the industry, for when you want to upgrade.

DuoTrap compatible:
The end of cable ties. DuoTrap seamlessly integrates the computer sensor into the frame to measure speed, distance, and cadence with no added aerodynamic drag. It works with all the major ANT+ wireless technology players, including Bontrager, Bryton, Garmin, PowerTap, and SRM.

Speed is in the details:
Even the quick-release skewers on the Speed Concept increase its speed. They are integrated into the shape of the bike for faster aerodynamics.
