Ken Ellerker Cycles Difference

Tacx started as a bike and repair shop in Wassenaar, the Netherlands in 1957. The move to manufacture exhausts for mopeds in 1964 brought about the "there is always room for improvement" philosophy which still drives the company to this day.
In 1972 Tacx began making roller cylinders for Dutch pro riders. The first indoor specific bike trainer, bottles, tools and other products followed.
Around the year 2000, Tacx introduced an entirely new way of training by connecting computer electronics to trainers, allowing riders to race through virtual worlds and compete online against opponents from all over the globe.
Another leap froward in development came about with the innovative, interactive Smart trainers that communicate via ANT+ and Bluetooth to connect with third party software.
What once started as a small local bike and repair shop and modest manufacturer of rollers has grown into a globally well-known brand which develops and offers innovative products for athletes in over 80 countries.
